A model science team with members from several institutions has been formed during the development of LESS.

Associate Professor from Faculty of Geographical Science, Beijing Normal University, China
The founder, primary developer, maintainer, and model trainer of LESS.
Focus on 3D radiative transfer modeling, 3D LiDAR data processing and parameter retrieval, developed the popular LiDAR ground filtering algorithm: Cloth Simulation Filter (CSF).
